These Tappets work on all 1989-2016 Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel engines and are recommended when installing a high performance camshaft. This a complete set of 12 for both Cummins 5.9L or Cummins 6.7L intended for engine builds that are high horsepower and high RPM. Tappets have a wider cam footprint than stock 12V and 24V tappets. At 1.45” they will not interfere with the Fuel pump eccentric on 12V engines and are much wider than the 1.1” tappets used in early 12V engines. Wider surface area mean more contact with our wider lobes producing better lobe life with today’s low-zinc oils.
